I LOVE to bake and cook!  My family and friends get to try my culinary creations.  Working in the kitchen makes me happy, and I enjoy the reaction that I get from the people who get to taste what is made.  Over the years, I have taken many cooking lessons and I also experiment independently with recipes from cookbooks and from videos. 

Cooking and baking have been interests of mine since I was little.  I enjoy being in the kitchen and working with food.  When my parents are hosting a party or dinner, you can find me in the kitchen helping out with the preparation of our menu items. 

I love the challenge of trying a new recipe.  The more challenging the task, the more exciting it is!   I enjoy trying new techniques, new tools, and new foods that I have not previously tried to make.   I am always looking for new recipes and seeking new culinary adventures.

My family often takes cooking classes when we travel.  In this photo, I am visiting Florence, Italy.   We took a class that incorporated shopping for fresh ingredients and making pizza with the vegetables that were in season.  I love traveling and finding new recipes. 

On this particular trip to Italy in 2020, I had the opportunity to cook with my friends from St. Edward the Confessor Catholic School and we learned to make ravioli and gnocchi together.  This class was also in Florence, Italy. I love making Italian food!
